EPS Powder Coating Yellow Green Polyester Afterglow Powder Coating

Application:

Transparent, weather-resistant afterglow powder coating preferably for the coating of components made of aluminum, non-ferrous metals and steel, as well as for the overcoating of powder coating films of all kinds.

Properties:
afterglow powder coating for the production of glossy transparent paint films with very good
flow and handling properties.

Pretreatment:
Depending   on   the   requirements   regarding   adhesion   and   corrosion resistance  of the final product and the quality of the base/substrate can be chosen as follows: Steel:      degrease, blast, iron phosphate or zinc phosphate Aluminium:     degrease, blast, passivate or chromate according to DIN 50939
or suitable chrome-free pre-treatment
Galvanised substrates:     degrease, blast, zinc phosphate or chromate or suitable chrome-free pre-treatment
Processing:
Electrostatic coating (EPS) at processing voltage of 30 to 100 KV. The relevant safety regulations (guidelines of BGV D25, VDE, VDM) and our EU safety data sheet must be observed and complied with.
Note: Overcoating of powder coating films:
- 1. Powder coating film: Pre-crosslink only with approx. half of the recommended holding time, cool down.
- 2. Transparent powder coating film: Apply and bake with values given here
. Recommended film thickness:    70 - 90 µm

Stoving conditions according to DIN 55990-4:
8 - 15 min holding time at 160 °C object temperature
5 - 10 min holding time at 180 °C object temperature

Shelf life:
18 months from delivery when stored dry not above 25 °C, without exposure to heat or sunlight!
