On weathered outdoor surfaces, anti-skid coatings with sprinkling agent are generally recommended. The material is suitable for priming, levelling and finishing layers. The coverings are elastic and crack-bridging and are therefore particularly suitable for substrates that are subject to greater deformation due to temperature, such as concrete surfaces in outdoor areas. For balconies and terraces, some details such as connections, water drainage, slopes and others have to be taken into account. The colourless sealing of tiles is not recommended. Legal requirements for slip-resistant properties Floors - ASR A1.5/1.2 specifies the requirements of the Ordinance on Workplaces within the scope of application. If the technical rules are complied with, the employer can assume that the corresponding requirements of the ordinance are met. If the employer chooses a different solution, he must achieve at least the same level of safety and health protection for the employees. Floors in rooms must not have any unevenness, depressions, trip hazards or dangerous slopes. They must be secured against slipping or tipping (e.g. in the case of covers) and be load-bearing, slip-resistant and non-slip.
